Who doesn’t love coffee?! (Honestly, I’m sure MANY people prefer tea, or maybe can’t do caffeine.) Tampa sure loves its coffee! I reached out to my local communities for everyone’s favorite local Tampa coffee shops. Especially in this day and time, it is imperative to shop, eat and drink LOCAL!
Without further adieu, here are some of the best local coffee shops!

Buddy Brew

Buddy Brew is a huge name in the local coffee scene here in Tampa. They opened their first location in Tampa in 2010, and have expanded since then to 6 locations, including a traveling Brew Truck. They even sell their bagged roasted beans at other local coffee shops as well.

The Daily Grind

The Daily Grind (also referred to as just “TDG”) is a small coffee shop much needed in the Apollo Beach area. They describe themselves as “You finally have a buy and stay coffee shop right in Apollo Beach. We are a brand new, full-service coffee shop with free wifi, amazing coffee and a comfortable place to hang out or get some work done.”

Foundation Coffee Co.

Foundation Coffee Company. A clear favorite out in the Riverview area. They stand apart with their small-town feel, great atmosphere, and obviously great coffee. The open-air concept complete with fire pits and water features makes for a great place to slowly sip your coffee, work remotely, and enjoy the best of the Florida weather.

Kraftologee is probably one of the most unique in our list, as not only are they a wonderful place to get coffee and a nice breakfast sandwich, but they also offer supervised creative play for your children while you enjoy that fantastic break to work, enjoy a few quiet moments, or set up a play date.

Chill Cawfee is probably one of my my favorite names to say, just because of the simple fact it utilizes that unique accent to say the word “coffee.” They also feature other local business owners, and their line of hemp products to promote total wellness. They also host a wonderful “Valrico Artisan Faire” twice a month.

Cali Cafe

Cali Cafe describes themselves on their Facebook Page as “a [specialty] coffee and artisan bread start-up in the Riverview area of Florida.” They have wonderful Columbian coffee and Cafe con leche.

Blind Tiger

On a post to their Facebook page they describe themselves: “We are a 1920’s speakeasy-style coffee shop.
All our pastries have been inspired by the ethnicities that make up Ybor City. Cuban, Italian, German and Spanish inspired vegan cookies, breads and cakes are the perfect pairings with our drink offerings.”
With 6 locations across the Tampa Bay area, you are sure to find one close by to try their coffee and other unique offerings.

Union Coffee

Located in the awesome Armature Works attraction, you could stop for a nice cup of joe anytime at Union Coffee, whether out at an event hosted by Armature works, out for a business meeting, or a wedding!

22nd Street Coffee

22nd Street Coffee describes themselves as a destination coffee experience. They offer coffees from multiple different areas of the world, as each has differing things and flavors to offer with the environment the beans are grown in.

Whether in the city or out in the suburbs, you are sure to find a favorite or three. Also check out any events we may be doing at any of these great Tampa coffee shops. What is your favorite outside of these options?
